I am a qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor and offer my clients an empathetic and safe place to explore their emotions and the challenges they face in their life.
Adapting a Humanistic and Integrative approach, I believe the client-therapist relationship is the cornerstone of therapy. Using various theories and techniques, the approach in each session is tailored to best suited to you and your situation, where we will work together to reflect on your life experiences. This will allow you to gain insight into patterns of unhelpful thought and behaviour that are causing you issues. Exploring these and their impact within therapy can enable you to form a clearer sense of yourself and your situation.
I believe this process can empower you to recognise your strengths and build new skills, allowing you to discover the path for positive change in your life.

Qualifications & Experience
Qualification BA (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy
Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
MA Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy (in progress)
Experience
4+ years in Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
After volunteering in the mental health area for over 10 years I returned to college to train as a professional therapist, and use my experience to help others. I have recently returned to college and am currently training to work with children and adolescents.
Approach I don’t believe one size fits all, therefore by adapting a Humanistic and Integrative approach, I use a diverse range of modalities, including person-centred, psychodynamic, behavioural therapy, bodywork, and existential psychotherapy. In addition, I believe the process should be collaborative so I welcome client feedback.
This allows the sessions to be tailored to best suit your situation, where we will work together to reflect on your life experiences and focus on your goals and strengths, encouraging growth, self-awareness, and change.
