About

As a psychotherapist, I am compassionate, client-centered, and integrative in my approach, currently studying for a master’s in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I create a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals feel heard and understood. I blend cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with mindfulness techniques, integrating MBSR principles to foster emotional healing and personal growth. My goal is to empower clients to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and overcome obstacles. I enjoy collaboration, aiming to help individuals uncover their strengths and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification I hold a Bachelor of Science in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University, providing me with a strong academic foundation in therapeutic practices. In addition to my formal education, I have completed over 100 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) specifically in the area of neurodiversity. This advanced training has deepened my understanding of working with individuals with autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent conditions, equipping me with specialised tools to support their unique needs. These qualifications, combined with my diverse therapeutic modalities and MBSR studies, allow me to offer a comprehensive, compassionate, and informed approach to my clients.
Experience
3+ years in Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
In the past four years, my journey into the therapy field has been shaped by my work with neurodivergent individuals, particularly children with autism. This experience has deepened my understanding of diverse communication styles and behavioral needs. I have also trained in ADHD, broadening my expertise in neurodiversity. As a psychotherapist, I integrate these insights with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and person-centered therapy. My MBSR studies further enhance my practice, allowing me to offer tailored, compassionate care that fosters resilience, self-awareness, and emotional growth in my clients.
Approach My approach as a psychotherapist is rooted in creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I believe in tailoring therapy to each individual, drawing from a range of modalities that best meet their unique needs. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) forms the foundation of my work, helping clients identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. In addition, I integrate mindfulness-based techniques from my MBSR studies, encouraging clients to develop present-moment awareness and emotional regulation. Person-centered therapy is another core aspect of my practice, where I emphasise empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, empowering clients to explore their emotions and experiences at their own pace. My background working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with autism and ADHD, allows me to approach therapy with heightened sensitivity to individual differences in communication, emotional expression, and sensory needs. Collaboration is central to my approach; I work closely with clients to help them build on their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and cultivate resilience. I focus on fostering self-awareness and emotional growth, guiding clients toward greater balance, self-acceptance, and the ability to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.
