Hi, my name is Yolanda. I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a
fully accredited member of IACP (the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
I love supporting people on their journey to better understand themselves and the root of their present difficulties; helping them discover who they are beyond who they have learned to be through their life experiences and environment. It can feel a bit daunting or even scary starting or resuming therapy so I focus on creating a space that is warm and safe, to help you feel more comfortable figuring out what's troubling you and unpacking your feelings, thoughts and experiences.
I have worked with and supported people who are experiencing anxiety; family challenges; difficulties with their parents; relationship difficulties; feeling lost and disconnected; abuse; attachment difficulties; parenting challenges; low self-esteem; self-criticism; stress; trauma; adult children of alcoholics; grief and loss; and life transitions.
We can work together to make meaning of your experiences and find ways to grow from them, using your own unique strengths and resources. We can also work together on helping you manage the issues and feelings you are struggling with right now.
