I am a Psychotherapist who strives to provide a calm and still presence for clients, where they can feel seen and heard in a non-judgmental and empathetic space. I aim to understand the uniqueness of each client and encourage clients to be the director of their own therapeutic process by meeting them where they are. I work with the specific needs of each client, whether that be overcoming a particular issue with short term therapy or using long term therapy to address unresolved past traumas. I am available for sessions in person and on-line during the weekdays, Monday – Thursday in the evenings

3+ years in Psychotherapy
Hello!
I am qualified Psychotherapist and have been in practice for 3 years.
I am also a qualified Biomedical Scientist and Senior Project Manager with more than 25 years experience working in the healthcare sector.
I have a long term yoga and meditation practice and have extensive training in yoga and mindfulness based meditation practices (Vinyasa and Yin).
Approach My approach is person centred and psychodynamic incorporating other modalities as needed such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), gestalt, mindfulness, psychosynthesis, attachment theory and existentialism. My core training is in integrative and humanistic psychotherapy which enables me to provide therapeutic interventions that are tailored for each individual client.
I see each client as multi-dimensional and work to bring equanimity and well-being to all aspects (mind, body and spirit) of the client. As a qualified yoga teacher with extensive training in mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) I endeavour to incorporate all aspects of my training and experience to help clients work through a range of issues and equip them with resources that will sustain their on-going healing and personal growth.
